Prior to joining the School in 2013, Gary has worked at The University of Queensland since 1997 in a variety of professional roles, including the Faculty of Arts Information and Projects Officer for the 2012 Bachelor of Arts Program Review, the Data Analyst and Information Manager for the Graduate School in 2010 and 2011, and the Research Higher Degrees Unit Coordinator from 2002 to 2009.
Gary has served as Chair and Past Chair of the Australian Research Training Administrators (2009 to 2012), and has been an honorary life member of the Queensland University Games Society since 2003.
