What is Authentic? Performing Works from the Early Recording Era

 

Professor Gillies is a former Dean of Music at UQ, later in his career became Vice-Chancellor of London Metropolitan University, and is currently Interim Head of Music at the Australian National University in Canberra. He has written extensively about Bartok and Grainger.

 

 

This one-hour seminar is immediately followed by research higher degree student seminars from 2:00 to 3:00 pm in room 458.
