Established in 2014, White Halo Ensemble is a collaboration of four of Australia's most experienced and versatile chamber musicians. Taking its name from the halo effect that forms behind supersonic jets as they break the sound barrier, the group seeks to break barriers and explore new terrain within the art of chamber music.

Following on from their performance of Beethoven’s Triple Concerto with the UQ Symphony Orchestra at QPAC in 2016, White Halo Ensemble look to expand their collaborative model further in 2017. The Ensemble’s plans for 2017 include the release of their first CD, as well as regional, national and international touring.

White Halo Ensemble will be performing House of Stairs by Australian composer James Ledger and Brahms' Piano Quartet in C minor Op. 60.
