Anna Grinberg

Anna is a piano performance fellow at the School of Music. Born in the former Soviet Union, Anna's career has seen concerts in the United States, Australia, Israel, and Europe. Hailed by the Los Angeles Times as "powerful", Anna's engagements have included solo and chamber music performances at prestigious venues in the United States, including Royce Hall at Los Angeles and New York's Weil Recital Hall at Carnegie Hall. She has performed as a soloist with the Hartford Symphony Orchestra and the Paul Mellon Chamber Orchestra, and is a member of the Viney-Grinberg Piano Duo with Liam Viney. Together they explore classics of the two-piano literature and create new works through commissions.

Patrick  Murphy

Cellist of the award-winning Tinalley String Quartet, Patrick regularly appears in performances throughout Australia. He was a founding member of the international prize-winning Tankstream Quartet who were invited by the Australian Government to perform at the Royal Wedding of Crown Prince Frederick of Denmark and Mary Donaldson. Patrick was as a member of the Southern Cross
Soloists between 2011 and 2017 and has performed with the Australian World Orchestra, Sydney Symphony, the Australian Opera and Ballet Orchestra and the Queensland Symphony Orchestra, as well being a guest principal with the Queensland’s Chamber Orchestra Camerata. Recent concerto performances have included appearances with the Brisbane Symphony Orchestra, The Metropolitan Orchestra (Sydney), and the University of Queensland Symphony Orchestra. Patrick has also commissioned several new works for solo cello and teaches cello and chamber music at the University of Queensland.
