The UQ Wind Ensemble, directed by Louise McGill, performs Serenade No. 10 in Bb major (‘Gran Partita’), K.361 by Wolfgang Amadeus Mozart.

Louise McGill is currently a postgraduate conducting student under the tuition of Dr WarwickLouise McGill Potter. Louise began her musical journey learning the clarinet and graduated from the Queensland University of Technology with a Bachelor of Music in Performance and a Graduate Diploma in Education. Louise is currently a Multi Instrumental Music Teacher and enjoys teaching the next generation of musicians.

During her undergraduate studies, Louise developed a passion for instrumental conducting and has since studied and attended courses with Jerry Nowak, John Lynch and Dr Rob McWilliams. Wanting to further develop her conducting style, Louise began studying at the University of Queensland, and is due to complete her Masters of Music in 2017.
