In an ongoing collaboration between composition students of the UQ School of Music and the UQ Art Museum’s exhibitions, this year the composers will be inspired by the themes of the exhibition Unlearning. Bachelor of Music (Honours) students Timothy Clark, Pierce Leahy, Felicity Mohr and Prathana Thevar-Brink are composing new works responding to artworks that engage with the concept of Unlearning, exploring the gaining, shedding and unravelling of internalised learning and embracing the idea of not knowing through empathy and curiosity.
