book cover for Collaborative Creative Thought and Practice in Music

In November 2014, the Creative Collaboratorium has published its first book, Collaborative Creative Thought and Practice in Music, featuring chapter contributions from School staff, RHD students, and international scholars.

Edited by Professor Margaret Barrett, the book provides new perspectives to our understandings of the role of collaborative thought and processes in creative work across the domain of music including: composition, musicology, performance, music education and music psychology.

On 10 December 2014, the book was presented as part of a Research Celebration event, held by the School of Music. The event featured a performance by the Viney-Grinberg Piano Duo, who also made contributions to the book and are featured on the front cover.
