The UQ Chamber Music Academy offers an immersive and nurturing environment for high-school musicians to develop their ensemble skills and artistry. Located within the vibrant UQ School of Music, the Academy provides expert mentorship from distinguished faculty and guest artists, fostering a deep understanding of chamber music through coaching, masterclasses and performance opportunities. Students in the Academy are encouraged to explore a diverse repertoire, collaborate with peers and participate in high-profile competitions, equipping them with the experience and confidence needed to excel as professional musicians.
The Academy is dedicated to cultivating a life-long love of chamber music performance and supporting the emergence of the next generation of chamber musicians in the Australian and global musical landscape.

UQ Chamber Academy in 2024
Each participating chamber group receives expert tuition from UQ's world-class performers and teachers. Through a mix of group workshops and individual lessons, you will develop new skills as a chamber musician.
2024 Fee Structure
Option One:
- $550 (including GST) for Terms 1 and 2, due 22 April 2024
- $550 (including GST) for Terms 3 and 4, due 22 July 2024
Option Two:
- $1,000 (including GST) for Terms 1 to 4, due 22 April 2024
