Honours projects can be structured in a wide variety of ways, all of which have two common elements:

  1. The work is supervised by an academic member of staff
  2. The research findings are documented and available for review

There are three frequently used formats for Honours projects at the School of Music:

  • Thesis
  • Performance Recital
  • Composition Folio

Alternately, students can request permission from the Honours course coordinator for a customised format if their request is supported by their project supervisor.
