    The University of Queensland Symphony Orchestra presents a dynamic afternoon of orchestral colour and rhythmic vitality as part of the UQ School of Music’s UQ Arts program. Conducted by internationally renowned clarinettist, composer and conductor Paul Dean, this program explores music shaped by public life moving from the elegance of the Classical salon to the pulse of dance halls, city streets and village squares.

    Experience Mozart’s awe-inspiring Requiem with Dane Lam, UQ Symphony Orchestra, UQ Choir, Brisbane Chorale and local high school students at QPAC’s Concert Hall. The concert also showcases UQ student Jeremy Sun performing Prokofiev’s exhilarating Third Piano Concerto, along with the world premiere of Tangling, Turning, Twisting, a choral piece composed by UQ student Ashlyn Keiler, winner of the Percy Brier Memorial Prize. Don’t miss this afternoon of unforgettable performances!
