Since its establishment, the ensemble has premiered a multitude of compositions by its members, in addition to crafting novel interpretations of Japanese animation and game music. They've also ventured into innovative projects with Marike van Dijk, utilizing dynamic, animated music notation, and delving into musical expressions inspired by specific natural surroundings.
Under the direction of Robert Davidson, drawing from his experience as the artistic director of the award-winning ensemble Topology, Sketch Ensemble continues to explore the frontiers of contemporary music.
