On the 21st of May 2024, St John's Cathedral in Brisbane will host a captivating performance by UQ Winds, under the skilled direction of Brian Catchlove. The ensemble will present a varied program, including Mozart's Divertimento KV252, specially arranged for clarinets by Reinier van der Wal, and featuring movements such as Andante, Menuetto, Polonaise Andante, and Presto Assai. The program also includes Franz Krommer's lively Octet - Partita op.57 and Maurice Ravel's enchanting Ma mère l’Oye, arranged by Marnix van den Berg, which promises to transport the audience through a fairytale landscape.
