Copyright is an important consideration in your research projects. During your candidature you are a copyright creator as well as a user of copyright material. As well as highlighting your rights as a copyright owner, this seminar will cover copyright matters that you will need to consider when including material in your thesis and publications, and will also examine copyright alternatives such as Creative Commons, all from the perspective of music based research.
