The UQ Singers, comprising emerging classical vocal artists from The University of Queensland School of Music, engage in a diverse range of solo and chorus projects, including opera scenes, full operatic productions, and large orchestral choral works with the UQ Symphony Orchestra. In this concert, the audience will be treated to the intimate art forms of lieder, canzone, and mélodie, as the UQ Singers collaborate with their peers in the UQ piano department to celebrate the art of musical partnership. The program features works by Schubert, Rachmaninoff, Viardot, Donizetti, and other lesser-known composers. Join us at the magnificent St John’s Cathedral to enjoy exquisite music performed by the next generation of artists.
