The University of Queensland School of Music is proud to present our Concert Series. We have designed a diverse and exciting program which reflects the School's role in the broader South-East Queensland community. With established international and national artists, as well as our own emerging student artists performing, this year is set to be a vibrant, creative, and energetic time at the UQ School of Music. We look forward to connecting with you, as you explore our array of events, and visit us at the St Lucia campus.

The University of Queensland Symphony Orchestra presents a dynamic afternoon of orchestral colour and rhythmic vitality as part of the UQ School of Music’s UQ Arts program. Conducted by internationally renowned clarinettist, composer and conductor Paul Dean, this program explores music shaped by public life moving from the elegance of the Classical salon to the pulse of dance halls, city streets and village squares.

Music by the Lakes

Saturday transforms the lakeside Amphitheatre into a festival village of sound. Audiences are invited to relax on mats and beanbags, enjoy food trucks and coffee vans, and move freely between performances as UQ’s wind, brass and percussion ensembles take centre stage in a rolling program of colour and rhythm.
